  • This is a non-surgical way to dissolve areas of unwanted fat. It is made from 2 biological "fat dissolvers" (these exist in our own gallbladder to dissolve the fats we eat) deoxycholic acid and phosphatidylcholine.

    We’ll dissolve pockets of unwanted fat—areas that do not seem to go away with diet changes and regular exercise. Depending on the area and the thickness of the area being treated, you may need 2-6 for results. Once the fat is dissolved, it cannot come back!

  • When injected, Botulinum Toxin will stop muscle contraction, to prevent wrinkles from forming and smooth wrinkles that have already started. It can be used to treat hyperhidrosis or migraine headaches too.

    ​Currently there are 4 Health Canada-approved botulinum products, with all 4 being equal in benefit. We will use the best product for you. In most of the areas injected, you can expect it to last 3-4 months, but this can vary with each person and each treatment area.

  • This is the most common cosmetic treatment. We have 3 laser options to permanently remove unwanted facial and body hair using the most effective medical-grade lasers that exist.

    These lasers can safely and comfortably treat every skin type (whether you have lightly pigmented or darkly pigmented skin). Depending on which laser we use, and how darkly pigmented your skin is, you can see 80-95% permanent hair removal after 6-8 treatments.

  • We have 2 options to improve collagen and elasticity; both of them use radiofrequency-heat energy to stimulate healthy collagen. These treatments will need a total of 3-6 treatments to achieve the best results, and touch-ups. Because these treatments stimulate your body to make healthy collagen and elastin, it can take 2-3 months before we see the full results.

    Forma - Feels like a warm massage to the area we are treating. We also use this treatment just before a special event to give you an immediate lift.

    Fractora - This is radiofrequency and medical needling to give a deeper and more intense improvement to skin tightness as well as skin texture and colour.

  • Hyaluronic Acid Fillers - this product is the most common injectable filler used to plump up the lips and cheeks and fill in the hollows of the eyes. We can also use it for a non-surgical "nose job" and chin contouring. Many companies make a hyaluronic acid filler. Dr. Leaf uses many different types of this product and will choose the product that will work best for you.

    Radiesse - this is a filler that has calcium-hydroxyapatite and a gel to improve volume loss in the cheeks, temples, chin, and jawline. It can also be placed in the hands to give volume to aging hands and make them look less bony. Hydroxyapatite is the only filler product that has been proven to stimulate natural and healthy collagen. We can also "dilute" Radiesse and inject it subdermally to improve wrinkles in the cheeks, abdomen, buttocks, and knees. This technique smooths out wrinkles and cellulite and gives a "lift" to our aged, sagging skin. This product can last approximately 12 months.

    Sculptra - this injection is not a filler, but a collagen stimulator, poly-L-Lactic Acid. It stimulates your body to make its own collagen and can last up to 18 months! We place it in the face to lift the cheeks and contour the jawline. This is perfect for people who have time to achieve results (it can take 3 months for your body to make the collagen) and want a more natural approach to a youthful look. It requires a series of 3 treatments, with a single maintenance treatment every 12-18 months. It has also been used in cellulite, sagging skin of the arms, abdomen and thighs, as well as the non-surgical "Brazilian Butt Lift".

  • PRP - platelet-rich protein—is a blood product from your own body that has a high concentration of growth factors. Depending on how we use it and where we inject it, it can: stimulate hair growth in men and women; smooth fine lines; brighten and even out the skin tone. The number of tubes we use will depend on the treatment area. Retreatment may be monthly or every 6 months, depending on the reason for using this treatment.

    PRP treatments can also improve and speed up healing time after certain in-clinic procedures.

  • We have several options to manage scar concerns, but not one treatment will take care of all problems.

    ​*Microdermabrasion - this would take off extra layers of skin over the scar to give a short-lived improvement.

    ​*Chemical Peels - will improve the texture and colour of a scar. Sometimes we can do a chemical peel and another treatment on the same day.

    ​*Medical CIT - depending on the serum that we apply after the treatment, it will improve the texture, colour and fine lines within the scar.

    ​*BBL - this is a great way to improve the colour of the scar as well as the overall brightness of the skin. This is a great option in combination with other treatments, as it has been shown, over a 10 year period to maintain the youthfulness of skin.

    ​*Fractora - this option works on the pigment, texture and depth of the scar. By using micro-needling along with radio-frequency stimulation, we can create new and healthier collagen.

    ​​Touch ups may be needed for all of these treatments, and the initial treatment plan may change as your scar heals. This will be reassessed throughout the treatment.

  • Rejuvenating Facial - this will improve your skin tone and texture. We will target our basic facial to your skin type - whether it is oily, dehydrated, sensitive or just "tired", we have many options tailored for you!

    ​Vitamin Infusion Facial - we use the Environ DF infusion therapy, to allow our concentrated serums 4-100 times the penetration of typical topical application. Depending on what we choose for you, we use sonophoresis and/or iontophoresis to allow this penetration. The DF device infuses the vitamin serum deeper into your skin, so you get amazing results.

    Chemical Peels - Dr. Leaf and our medical esthetician will determine the proper peel based on your skin type. Whether it be a lighter peel for an upcoming event, or a stronger peel to treat acne, scarring or skin aging.

    ​Microdermabrasion - a simple and easy way to refresh the surface of your skin. You can do this treatment on its own, or as an add-on to any facial.

    ​Dermaplane - a 2-in-1 treatment. This will exfoliate the skin as well as remove fine, vellum hairs. Most people will need regular treatments as these hairs grow back, approximately every 4-6 weeks.

  • "Dilute" Radiesse - you may be familiar with Radiesse as a favourite way to contour the cheek, jawline, and hands. This treatment stimulates your body's own healthy collagen production. 2-4 weeks after this injection treatment, you will see improvement in your skin texture, elasticity, and tightness. We can do this treatment anywhere in the body: face, neck, décolletage, legs, abdomen...everywhere. And an extra bonus is that it also reduces the appearance of cellulite!

    ​Medical CIT (Collagen Induction Therapy) - this has been around for years. It’s the first collagen treatment I introduced to my practice and is still one of my favourite’s. It is used to improve surgical or acne scars, stretch marks, and lines from aging. Because we are stimulating your collagen, it can take 6-12 weeks before we see the final improvement. We use topical freezing for your comfort, and there really is no downtime, but this depends on the treatment area and the depth of the needles.

    ​PRP Treatments - once again, we are using your own growth factors, and applying them in the areas that need improvement in texture, colour, hair growth, or just overall skin rejuvenation. We remove a tube of your blood, spin down the blood to separate the growth factors, and then we apply your growth factors to the desired area. This is sometimes called the "vampire facelift".

    SkinTyte/Forma - we have 2 different technologies that create heat that causes stimulation of collagen. One treatment is great for a special event, but 3-6 treatments will give you longer-lasting results. Many times we use the SkinTyte as an add-on to a BBL treatment, but it can be used on its own.

    Fractora - this is a treatment using a combination of medical needling and radiofrequency stimulation. It is safe to use on almost all skin types, in any area of the body. It has great results for acne scars, active acne, loose skin, aged skin changes, sun damage, stretch marks, and overall improvement in any area of the body.
